Period Dancing
Period dancing reproduces the dances and social customs since the
origin of dance. Thanks to a number of high quality sources from
different era that have survived time, and the efforts of both
professional scholars and amateur dancers who were interested in
learning the dances of different periods in history, dances such
as the simpler English Country Dances taken from John Playford's
English Dancing Master of 1651, or the more challenging late sixteenth
century Italian Balletti can be meticulously recreated. |
